- Essential Learnings for Technology
These curriculum materials are the ones that I feel work well with the 'RECYCLABLE ART' concept, which focuses on VISUAL ARTS integrated with TECHNOLOGY as the key learning areas.

Cross Curricular Priorities: The Cross Curricular Priorities address five important elements of technology, these are inquiring, creating, communicating, ethics and issues and operating within ICT's. By using this wiki, in particular the student place, students and teachers should get a chance to explore each one of these five key areas of technology. They will be able to inquire about the topic 'Recyclable Art' by taking the survey on Survey Monkey, this in a way is an introductory inquiry process for the teacher, as it enables them to see exactly how much their students really know about recycling and e-wate. Students will also get the chance to create, through their own recyclable artworks which will be posted on Blogster.

If a teacher was to use these activities within the classroom, the students would also get a chance to communicate with each other through the use of the Blogster page, by commenting on other students' works and also voicing their thoughts about thier own artworks. Students should also be able to comply with the ethics and issues because this wiki is set up by a studying teacher, so the students will understand the context of this site and hopefully respect that it is for educational purposes, and will help them shape their values as they create and explore the educational activities. Finally, since this site is interactive, students will be able to operate or learn how to operate the activities that are set out for them to complete. (QSA, 2007).

**Visual Arts Inquiry Learning Model:** There are four main stages to the Inquiry Model, which are: Researching, developing, resolving and reflecting. I believe that the activities in this wiki will address these four key areas. Students will be given a chance to research definitions on Survey Monkey, develop their recyclable artworks by using the bubbl.us brainstorming activity and by posting them up on Blogster. Students can resolve any issues they may have with their artworks by posting the pictures and comments online for others to look at and comment on, and reflect on their final art piece also by blogging their thoughts. (QSA, 2007).Essential Learnings for Visual Arts Essential learnings for Visual Arts is devided in knowledge and understanding, and ways of working. This particualr wiki site and the student samples within it demonstrate many of the points outlined in the Essential Learnings document. In particular it addresses the point: "Present arts works to specific audiences for a specific style, purpose or function, using genre-specific arts techniques, skills and cultural protcols" (p.2). By using the theme of recyclable art for the wiki, it does lend itself to being resourceful and environmentally friendly through recycling. The wiki is genre specific, as it is Visual Arts and Technology based, and the genre within that is of course recyclable art. The student place, especially the blogster page, also gives students a chance to present artworks to an audience within that genre. (QSA, 2007).Essential Learnings for Technology:
Technology Essential Learnings also devide key points into Ways of Working and Knowledge and Understanding. This document states that "Technology is a human endeavor" (p.2), which is correct because without people to operate and interact with technology, it would not be as powerful. The first point in knowledge and understanding states: "New products and technologies are designed and developed to meet changing needs and wants of intended audiences" (p.2). In this day and age, the audience is forever becoming more technologically advanced. Therefore introducing students to different technologies such as bubbl.us, Survey Money and Blogster will hopfully cater to an audience who are becoming more confident with ICTs every day. (QSA, 2007).
